Chubby JAG

Fresh off a new track release and in the spotlight this week is rapper Chubby JAG!

Chubby JAG is a rapper/songwriter born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. After an illustrious start to his career in the LA and New York battle rap scene, JAG was discovered by Cassidy in 2009 after a mutual friend played Cassidy some music while getting his car washed. JAG quickly made a name for himself in the hip hop community collaborating with Cassidy, Red Cafe, Fred Tha Godson, JR Writer, Styles P and Murda Mook. In October 2015 JAG signed his YouTube channel to Russell Simmons’ very own All Def Digital, becoming the first artist to do so. In April 2016 JAG released “Scattered Thoughts 2” which featured the likes of James Fauntleroy, Dave East, J Doe and Anthony Lewis. The project received a 94% rating on HotNewHipHop and was featured on Hip Hop DX, Real 92.3LA and DJ Booth. Starting the new year off with a bang, JAG followed up with "Scattered Thoughts 3" in January 2017 and has big plans for the rest of the year including an EP with J DOE in August and the release of his first full length album anticipated in September of this year.
